Be creative!! Start by downloading the Geofilter template found on the right. You will need to design 2 separate filters for 1 place. You have been hired by Snap Chat to add more Geo Filters to their app for the Raleigh area. Label it as last name + first name + period + Landscape and save in your graphics folder. Submit the AI and the PNG files in a folder to your teacher. Save your completed graphic as a AI (Illustrator file) and then export as a PNG file. You may use more than 1 clipping mask shape. When you have finished your drawing, you will need to add a final clipping mask to the entire thing, using a shape (not a rectangle) of your choice. start with a sketch first to give you something to reference as you work. Look at the examples to the right to give you some ideas, but DO NOT COPY one of these. You also must include 3 clipping masks in your drawing. It does not need to be based on a land that exists in real life, be as creative as you want. Keep in mind using depth perception, so that things that should be further away, get smaller/larger or brighter/darker. You will need to use a minimum of 6 layers moving backwards. Use any type of style you would prefer, but make sure it is dynamic and colorful. Using your imagination, you will be creating a landscape in Illustrator. The size of your artboard will be based upon your needs for your piece of art.
